Email not working

I added a new domain and setup a email account. I sent to my email address and it arrived. If I try to reply to it I get the following message:

Address not found

Your message wasn't delivered to melp57@lxlinuxhosting.com because the domain lxlinuxhosting.com couldn't be found. Check for typos or unnecessary spaces and try again.

The response was:
DNS Error: DNS type 'mx' lookup of lxlinuxhosting.com responded with code NOERROR DNS type 'mx' lookup of lxlinuxhosting.com had no relevant answers. DNS type 'aaaa' lookup of lxlinuxhosting.com responded with code NOERROR DNS type 'aaaa' lookup of lxlinuxhosting.com had no relevant answers. DNS type 'a' lookup of lxlinuxhosting.com responded with code NOERROR DNS type 'a' lookup of lxlinuxhosting.com had no relevant answers.

Edit:
Even though at my domain registrar, I had just my Zesle name servers recorded, because I use Zesle to manage my DNS, I went back and also added a n A record pointed to my IP for Zesel. After doing that, it seems email is now working?

If emails still not working, please refer to "EMAIL NOT WORKING?" section on this guide article: https://zeslecp.com/docs/email-accounts/add-email-account
okI looked at your guide, which really does not answer much for me. I went to MXtools from a link you provided, which test your email and if it's setup correctly or not. Both domains I have here, which email accounts are setup on, have any errors.:
My question is: does Zeslecp automatically set up the DNS when you create an email account? Most control panels I have used do.

Reverse DNS does not contain the hostname
Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner

these are some errors I get from mxtools.

I just want to know if your software sets up the DNS or is it up to us? It looks like it work ok when adding a domain, it asked if you want to add the DNS zone?

My email just is not reliable, and I seem to have a good IP address which is not on any blacklist, which I know is the case with many VPS providers.
I also wanted to point out that you have very few record types for setting up DNS. MXtools says I need to setup a PTR record for reverse DNS.

Sorry for all the questions. Can you explain why such few record types. Looks like I would be better off using DNS from my domain registar?

Hi,

Under your domain edit page (or at create page, when you create one), make sure that you enabled email settings for that domain and select "Local Mail Exchange" if you want to use the local server mail system.

If you have this setting enabled and MX records in place then email should work.

If it is still not working, then something is missing from your server side. Feel free to create a support ticket and we will look into it (make sure you share all the related details in the support ticket to avoid delay).

Regarding additional DNS records types, we will add more options in the near future (in a few months or so).

Thanks
